November 2011 Archives

We are at the end of 2011 and the right to free speech is still being visibly violated around us. Most dramatically in the casual showering of pepper spray. Well, Amnesty once again joins Cottonmouth to voice the common rights to basic freedoms by spraying back. With words, those painful and powerful things.

Spoken word artists, writers, poets and musicians will congregate once again for a night that entertains, yes, but does so with import. All proceeds go to Amnesty International, bolstered by the ammunition of declarations and exaltations that remind us of the wrongs as much as it reasserts the rights.

Performers will be announced shortly!
